Summer Swimming!

Swimming is a great way to stay in shape and have fun! Be safe with these tips:
* Don't leave kids unattended

*Avoid areas with large algae blooms

* Don't drink the water

* Wear sunscreen

* Take breaks

*Obey the posted signs and rules



Animal Bites!

The Health Department recently discovered a bat that tested positive for RABIES. 

If you are bitten by a wild animal 1) wash the wound 2) and capture the animal, 3) seek medical attention and 4) contact a local vet and the Health Department



Help stop the spread of this fatal disease!
